Nothing is better than discovering a new river on your own, with your own paddlestrokes.

We rent rafts, inflatable kayaks, lifejackets/PFDs, wetsuits and dry tops, paddles, even coolers, and almost anything you need to enjoy the Colorado River in Glenwood Springs. We love to see people catch a ride on our free shuttle to Grizzly Creek on the Colorado River, bring a picnic lunch, then hit the beach and stop at the natural riverside hot springs on the way down while enjoying class II rapids. You can end at our riverfront facility where it all began, so you won't have a second ride back to you car to worry about! This popular route can take as little as 1.5hrs if you never stop paddling, but most folks make the most of it and take 3hrs+ to complete the journey. It's a great day on the river, think 70 degree water, suntan, and a cool drink!

Rentals are also a great way to save, since rental fees are less than even our most modestly priced guided trip.

All raft and ducky rentals are by the day, not the hour. Each trip is subject to management approval based on difficulty and risk to the equipment.

Since rentals are not guided, experience is required. Whitewater Rafting, LLC rentals are not permitted on the Shoshone section of the Colorado River and availability is always subject to river conditions for your safety. We do not rent tubes, stand up paddleboards (SUPs), oars, frames, or allow equipment on multiday trips.

Just $35/person includes shuttle to Grizzly Creek, a PFD, paddle and either a 1 or 2 person ducky, or raft sized for your group, 12' or 16'.
